I remember in the mid 80s watching a tv show where there was a group of children, say about 4 or 5 who showed the different things they had invented. The host of the show wore a white lab coat. I remember in one particular episode a child invented this red ride on bulldozer type of thing to pick up his toys off the floor.

I was correct. SciGirls (2010) was also a different approach than just inventing things. SciGirls (2010) had beautiful tween girls (about 11 or 14) doing different things (protecting the environment, designing fashions, multi tasking, etc).
