I vaguely remember this TV show and I can't find ANYTHING about it.. I saw it in the early 90s but for all I know they could have been re-runs of an old show.
I don't remember any plots but I remember a weird looking yellow guy with kind of a big nose, and it was a claymation show.

No, this was earlier than that. It may have been british? I don't think the yellow character spoke very much, or in grumbles. I wish I could remember more!

Trap door indeed, I remember Mr. Bogus as a little yellow alien-like claymation figure, but you only saw the claymation between the cartoon segments.
Well I only watched the show to see the claymation. It was funny to see Mr. Bogus try to do simple everyday tasks. The bathroom scenes were cool and I remember he was in the kitchen try to get at a box of cookies.
I liked the way he would talk to himself, called himself "Bogie".

While it was a cartoon, it had wraparound segments that did use a clay/stop-motion figure.

How did we get from Mr. Bogus to Trap Door? I just looked up Trap Door from the link and it's so completely different. I'm not sure but I'm gonna guess Mr. Bogus may have been Italian made.

While were on the subject of obscure claymation, I also have a Mystery TV Show. It had a guy who looked like Wallace from Wallace and Gromit, except he was blue and had elephant ears. Any idea?
