First, let me say this show isn't America's Funniest Videos. I'm certain it came out a year or two before AFV.

It may have been called "Americas Funniest People", but the descriptions I've read about this show doesn't match my memory.

I remember at the end of each show they would show a few funny home videos and at the end of the season, the funniest would win money.

I remember a video they showed in which a boat was parked partially on shore and a woman was attempting to get off the boat and onto land.

As she was trying to sit and scoot off the front of the boat, her bikini bottoms got hooked on something and she couldn't free herself. She ended up dangeling from the front of the boat. She was yelling at her husband (he was behind the camera) to help her, but everytime she would start yelling her weight shifted, she would tip forward and her head would go into the water. Then she'd bob back up and yell at him some more.

"Put down the camera and help me! Damn you blurb blurb blurb blurb.....Stop laughing and help me! I'm gonna kill you blurb blurb blurb blurb....It's not funny!......blurb blrub blurb."

It was hysterical.

Does anyone remember this show or where I could find the video?

I seem to remember that show I think it had the actor who played Uncle Joey from Full House as the host.

I did some research and it looks like the Funniest People show came out after AFV....

I'm pretty sure it came out in 88 or 89.

I know Dick Clark and Ed McMahon hosted a show that had TV bloopers and practical jokes but I think people could send in home videos as well.

I could be wrong but it was about that time frame.
