I wear shorts year round. I don't even wear a jacket half of the time. Only when it's around or below 40 will I wear pants and only when going out someplace. Around the house I wear them even when it's cold. Of course I also wear pants when shorts are not appropriate. I suppose in areas where it gets below freezing almost everday in the winter people don't.

in the house of course. Persinally, i HATE pants due to a lack of the freedom of movement. And finding good pants is hard. for me.

I always wear shorts no matter the weather outside. While in the NAVY and stationed in Adak, Alaska it would be a blizzard and i would have shorts and flip flops on. I never think about the cold so it has never bothered me at all.

It was about 48 degrees and rainy. I still wouldn't wear shorts though. I probably start wearing shorts in mid-April and then I stop wearing them halfway through September.

It's in the low 30s right now, but feels much colder. At the tennis court in the subdivision next to mine there were about 10 teenage guys all wearing shorts and short sleeves tonight. I know playing sports will raise the body temperature, but even still I thought it was too cold for shorts. At least for sports like soccer they have longer socks and shorts. Like I said around here people wear shorts all the time.....maybe we just try to enjoy the cold while it last.
I remember as a kid some kids thought shorts on a guy was gay. They would wear jeans in the middle our hot and humid summers. I went through the no shorts phase in the late 90s, but got tired of sweating my balls off.

im uh whats the word, enthusiastic about shorts. Theyre easier to shop for and theres always a brand and comfort to appreciate. When i look for pants, i have to worry about the length, the waist and the stretch factor if i need to run if ever needed.

I wear short shorts now and it is in the singl digits. I think people believe you are really cold when you do that. In fact I found that this is far from being true. s long as my feet are warm and my hands are wams and I do wear a warm jacket, I am fine. Just be sure to put some protect your legs for the wind child (lotion, cream....)
