For those who don't know, Looney Tunes is now being shown on Cartoon Network in the morning with a half-hour showing at 6:00am, and an hour long showing at 12:00pm.

I'm not sure how long it's going to be this time, but from what I've heard, it's in preparation of the new Looney Tunes Show that's set to air this May.

Good, todays kids need to see some quality programing such as looney tunes. All the kid cartoons today have that shitty, blocky look and the kids need to see real cartoons.

Yeah. I've been watching it. I record it on my DVR.

It is sad to even know that Looney Tunes was even off the air. The best cartoon of all time deserves to be shown. As far as this new one coming out, I can guarantee it won't be that good and I can't believe they are doing it.

I am glad they brought it back, though I am disappointed they still show the "dubbed" versions of some of the cartoons.

I'm enjoying watching it when I can. If it means anything, the HBO Digital Channels (Family, Comedy and so on) have been airing some of the compilation movies recently, incuding "The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie" and "The Looney, Looney, Looney Bugs Bunny Movie". I really enjoyed those when I was younger.

Hey as long as they're back on cartoon network I'm fine. Besides the dubbed versions aren't really that different except for intros and outros.

Why do I get the feeling they will be edited so anything deemed too in-politically correct or violent for today's kids is cut out? I know they did this awhile back when Tom and Jerry was put back on TV.

                          Because it's Cartoon Network's policy. That's what I think.

They edited them for content and time limits back in the day, but I don't think they'll cut them too much. Still, even though you won't get to see Bugs dress up in blackface and act like a slave "pleadin' to his massa ta not beat him", the cartoons are now back on the air :D

Anyone whose seen the commercial for this while watching some ol' school Looney Tunes may already know part of the reasoning behind bringing them back...

I usually also think that Looney Tunes was on Nickelodeon in the 1990's, I also know that why Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon is supporting Looney Tunes on their shows, I don't know why that they just like Looney Tunes.
