I've seen boxes of cereal with their old mascot look since last year. I was tempted to buy a Captain Crunch one, but I don't like the cereal.

Yes is probably around that time though I remember slightly his tear drop shape face in late 70's ('79)?
Using other type of sugar for the cereal is a bit of a strecth I think. But well, if they do go all the way retro then I hope gas companies get all groovy again with their prices.
