So last night we went to the movies and were ready to enjoy the film, when we saw a trail of teenagers walking in. The Minute I saw them marching I knew they were gonna act like idiots, sure enough the second they sat down they start playing around, acting like dumdassess. One girl, who had to be the center of attention, would laugh like a jackass at everything the boys did. One had to spill something on her and of course she had to make a huge deal about it. Then more friends joined them... They talked throughout the movie acting ghetto, eventhough I'm sure they go to a nice school far from the ghetto.finally I had enough, i turned around and told them to shutup. Of course they got quite, my wife was holding my hand to say, chill, but I was like "fuck them, I didn't pay to hear them talk!". Why are these idiot kids allowed out now a days?!

That's why I don't even bother going out to the movies any more. It's sad. But if theaters will not even ensure a good experience, I'm not going to spend money there.

Sometimes they can be the only entertaining thing about the movie-going experience. From personal experience, me, my brother and several of his friends went to see a late night showing of the most recent "Resident Evil" movie. We were the only ones in the theater, and we were making jokes about it all the way through. By the final half hour, we were saying our remarks out loud. I think we've all been tempted to do things like this.

It all about the money. How many teens want to go out with thier parents. As sad as it is they tend to be the main people going to the movies. Money makes the world go round.
I luckily have a theater by me, has a full bar and everything. Normally at midnight shows or so it's not too bad.
Batman I agree with annoying teens, been there myself. Funny how when you say something thet shut up so quick lol.

Because their parents are tired of dealing with them, so they feel like they have to drop 'em off somewhere.

True, but the thing is in the movies, you need peace and quiet to enjoy it. Other places, malls and stores, well ur walking around so u can get away from it.

I'm a teen (getting dangerously close to 18 though, seeing as I'm 17), and I've only been to the movies by myself once (for Dark of The Moon).

Teens are big enough to go themselves. Aspie teens should be accompanied by the US Marine Corps.

Yikes! That's one of the things I don't want something to happen to me . If I had the courage, I would go George Costanza on them.

I do hate when I hear someone whispering out loud to another or when something embarrassing or shocking happens in a movie, a random guy/girl in the back will say 'What?!' out loud. Ugh. Shut up.

LOL The Batman was about to use some of his martial arts training on them.

I'm surprise they didn't mouth off when you told them to shut up. Some kids have this attitude that no adult will dare touch them and feel invisible when they are around their friends. What they don't relize is the police will generally side with the adult and little will be done unless the parents press charges.

Anyway I avoid going to the movies on Friday and Saturday nights for this very reason. The best time to go is the late morning or early afternoon during the week when the little bastards are in school or still in bed.

bassman, I LOVED having days off in the middle of the week because going to an early movie on a tuesday or wednesday was the BEST. Hardly (if anyone) was in there. Also, I agree, it seems like in most cases like that the kids will talk back until you actually stand up and act like your going over there LOL

I'm 15 and I've been going to the cinema alone since I was 12. I'm always quiet during movies and I never cause any trouble. Besides, most of the movies I see would probably be awkward to watch with an adult (I went to see Horrible Bosses twice) so it's best I go on my own.

I have been with friends before although not very often.
I can't think of anything worth putting as a signature.

I forgot to mention this. Near the end, the manager of the theater came in, and we dialed it down, although we were still joking. Oddly, she didn't mind, though. Apparently, she didn't think too highly of the movie, either. It all depends on the movie...
