Mystical was awesome as well. He just got out of jail and has the same sound to him. Reminds me of C-Murders last realease.

Don't forget the 3 headed Atlanta monster or Drama, Miracle and Pastor Troy!
Plus mentioning Atlanta can't forget Outkast.

When you posted Hit em up I realized no Biggie or Pac were mentioned. Also no ones brought up Wu-Tang or anyone else from thier family.

Man i miss when mainstream hip hop was not only popular but usually good. I can think of quite a few guys that never even ended up doing much but still had great 90's hip hop tunes, Coolbreeze - Watch for the hook, comes to mind i remember back in '98 pretty much like every rapper out had a mixtape verse on that beat, same with I got 5 on it by the Luniz. I loved a lot of the production back then too, call me oldschool but i'd take a nice beat made with a sweet sounding sample over any of this electronic/midi noise crap thats so prominent today (not talking about every single new artist i'm just generalizing)

man I got 5 on it is afkin classic, I also wanna throw on a couple on the list that are some good ones.. Blackstar (mos def and talib kweli) had an album out in the 90s. Also, you cant forget to mention Snoop had Doggystyle causing a stir and Dre had the Chronic, Ice Cube had Predator so on and so fourth.

I was really hoping this thread would get alot of songs posted like the 80s and 70s music thread, but TS always seems to started threads w just general comments but no real input..just saying
