One of the biggest changes in commercials the past few years is the McDonalds commercials. I remember the days of McWorld and Ronald McDonald and his friends. The great commercials were when the Hamburglar was trying to steal um....uh....oh right, hamburgers. Those McDonalds puppets like Grimace, the McNuggets, Birdie, Hamburglar, the Happy Meal gang, and whatever those pom pom guys were, that whole bunch was classic. McDonalds hardly markets the Happy Meal and its toys anymore but I wont forget the old McDonalds commericals (some of which are on this site) or their toys.

The Holloween comercial, where all the Mcnuggets were dressed as variouss monster costumes.
The McD's commercial that really sticks in my mind is from about 1996 (I think), when everyone was really into multiculturalism and world harmony. Coke started putting 'Enjoy' in about twenty different languages on their cans, remember?
Anyway, the McDonald's commercial had a pretty catchy song that went something like "everyone around the world keeps saying 'It's Mac Time!'" and there were shots of kids in different countries dancing and singing and eating french fries.
Ah, the Clinton days, when everyone thought the world was fine.

My favorite McDonalds commercial is the McPack ad in the download section. It is without a doubt worst McDs commercial to date.
I also enjoyed the ones with the puppets! They were the 1st puppets not to scare the shit out of me.

I gotta say, I was a fan of the puppets. Never a fan of the bird though. I don't know why. I hated her.
I think I have a "big fun big fries big drink" or something McD commercial on tape somewhere, I'll have to take a look through my old tapes, maybe see if I can find someone who can burn it to CD so I can upload 'em here.

I always liked the hamburger, soda, and fries talking to Ronald. I really liked the toys that came out relating to those characters.

Hands down, the greatest McD's commercial of all time is the one promoting the McDLT with a young (and almost full head of hair) Jason Alexander, otherwise best known as George Costanza. They should play commercials of that caliber nowadays, just for public uproar and surprise ; )

Me & my parents still have this on tape & just burned it to DVD. It's a McD's Christmas commerical where Ronald comes in the middle of people that are ice skating and all these cartoon animals start coming in as well. It's well done with no dialouge at all and the music is great. Always puts in the mood for Chirstmas and a childhood fav of mine.
i like tha one that was in tha 60s (i think) with the guy who played "James" from Good Times. I love that song
