One movie I can think of is Kiki's Delivery Service. It's one of my favorite anime movies. It would've been nice if it did. An idea I have for a sequel is where Kiki's all grown up, and has her own delivery service where packages and stuff are delivered by other witches. And there's an evil group of witches trying to take it over. I know a sequal wouldn't be as good as the first, but it'd still be cool if this movie got one. What are some good movies you've seen that you wish had gotten a sequal?

Why would the rest of us be glad it didn't get a sequel? It's known to be one of the best animated movies ever.

Oliver and Company. Not a direct-to-DVD sequel, but a theatrical one.

Well, I just thought the reason why people would be glad it didn't get a sequal, is because people probably think that it's perfectly fine with just one movie, and that a sequal would ruin it.

A sequel doesn't ruin the original movie. The fact that we have Rocky V doesn't mean that the original is a terrible film. In fact its still regarded as a good movie even by many who hate the rest of the sequels.

Trick r' Treat is about due for a sequel presenting new tales of terror. And if I were writing it, I'd slip in another Tales from the Darkside remake as one of the stories. Probably "Trick or Treat" where the mean old guy who gets his jollies every year by scaring kids is the subject of the ultimate revenge as all the ghouls who roam Halloween night (including a witch, a zombie and the devil himself) come for a visit he'll never forget.

Did you know Rocky was supposed to have died at the end of Rocky V. He was supposed to have a brain hemorrhage. You can see the cut at the end when the camera pans up. Personally, that would have made a great ending. But then we wouldn't have gotten Rocky Balboa. Which was an excellent movie.

Yeah Stallone actually had some good ideas for the series including that one, but the studios stepped in and made the changes. The original film was much darker. Mick was supposed to be really racist and a few things of that nature. I really liked Rocky Balboa. I went and saw it opening night at the midnight showing. I'm glad that they let him lose to make it believeable. They were actually thinking about letting him win. Personally I think that would have ruined the movie.

The 1998 American version of Godzilla should have a sequel in the form of a theatrical release, not an animated cartoon (think Godzilla the Series), or a short, big-lipped-alligator-moment-style cameo in a Japanese Godzilla film (think Godzilla: Final Wars).

Yeah it seems they've done everything but release an actual movie yet. Hopefully we'll hear news soon about the making of an inevitable sequel soon. ^ ^
