Reality shows is the worst thing that has entered the showbusiness. I get the urge to throw something at the TV when it comes on... :evil:
I HATE REALITY TELEVISION!!!!!!!!!!!!! :evil:
I don`t like Reality Show I think it sucks and Hate it too that Why I vote for Hate it, wish it would DIE! I think it stupid and it sucks bad.

I understand how people could hate it, but not all reality shows suck. I enjoy occationally watching Survivor or American Idol, they can at times be entertaining, but the thing is, do we really need umpteen million different reality shows on T.V. A few of the original are fine, but does the entire network have to be dominated by them.

I cant believe how out of hand reality tv has gotten. I remember when talk shows and game shows were as reality as TV got. Then came Survivor, Big Brother, American Idol, etc and people were hooked and I guess understandibly so. They were big hits. But then, it took a turn for the worse when they kept making more and more and stupider and stupider ideas up to this day.
Now you either have a bunch of "celebrities" having cameras following them around or competing against each other, or a bunch of nobodies looking for 5 minutes of fame, or more competition shows that no one will admit to watching.
I cant believe people can actually sit there and watch I'm a Celebrity get me out of here, Laguna Beach and the rest of the stupid MTV reality shows, or Average Joe and all those other bad competition shows. And yet, even though these shows are bad ideas, they get huge ratings and therefore TV networks keep making more. Thats why I think the whole TV ratings thing is a scam. Do you honestly believe 30 million people actually watched Dancing with the Stars? From what I hear people say and think about Reality TV, everyone hates most of it. So why has it gotten out of hand then? It's mind boggling.
And as Forrest Gump would say, "that's all I gotta say about that"

The first Real Worlds were great, but as the Reality thing got popular the shows got more and more stupid, i just wish they would go away. I wonder if reality shows are still popular in Canada and the U.K.
Well, them celeb reality shows can be entertaining(Celebrity Fit CLub, Surreal Life), I still find myself changing the channel though and still have a hate for the concept.

But, SOMETIMES I repeat SOMETIMES I watch the surreal life. I liked that episode where the mini-me dude gets drunk!
P.S. Does the I love the 80's,90's,70's count as reality tv? :?

I like the trashy stuff they show on VH1. Also sometimes I like to watch SuperNanny and the occasional home make-over show. I love Game Shows, but they don't really have many good ones anymore. Family Fued on PAX and stuff. I can't stand Fear Factor, rewarding people for eating testicles and being covered in snakes is just not right.
I Love the 70's 80' and 90's shows aren't reality, they are informative and are like count downs or a look back, thats all it is.
I've been watching FOX a lot lately, not because of that dance show, but because of Head Cases, House M.D, War at Home, Family Guy, and of course the Simpsons even though now it seems every other 4th new episode is a little funny.

Reality shows suck harder than a professional vietnamese hooker on crack!
-_- Well I'm not into the whole reallity show thing. Because It's nothing More than people just bickering at each other while doing tasks to get what they want or they're nothing more than what they really are . Exposure shows. Now I allways thought this was gonna be a gimmick like that of Real World or Road Rules. but it has 'sploded into this whole new genre of trashy shows that we don't need. Ironicly I had this idea before Survivor and yet durring RW, called Death House : the reallity show to end all shows. 7 people forced to live together in a house or Die trying!

Damn skippy, Fear Factor is the worst! Not to mention, there MUST be a minimum breast size for female entrants on there. TOO MUCH SILICONE, PEOPLE. :x
The ONLY good reality TV is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (although it is sappier than a maple tree) and PBS (History Detectives is awesome). The rest has got to go!

Some shows I like...but others are really stupid and pointless..My Fair Brady, Girls Next Door, The Next Reality Show :roll: not to mention Bobby Brown's show..he and Whitney performing like 2 true crackheads on national tv
some of it is ok. I'm sick of the reality shows I use to like. I don't watch American Idol or survivor anymore because they got boring to me.

it can be amusing but only in small small doses. some of it is absolutly terrible though.

I think that the concept of Reality Tv is great. Some of the programs have a great angle like The Amazing Race or even Survivor. Now, programs like The Surreal Life and such, personally, is just another celebrity plea for cash.
