Well, at least NBA fans won't have to worry about the entire season being cancelled. I'm glad this lockout wouldn't be a big concern any longer. Remember the NHL lockout that cancelled the entire 2004-05 season? That included regular-season games, the All-Star game, and the Stanley Cup playoffs, and none of the teams would play until the start of the 2005-06 season. What happened to the NHL in the 2004-05 season won't happen to the NBA this time around.
Too bad. Wonder what would happen if those guys got real jobs.
Well let's see if the players agree and vote for this settlement. The "poorer" teams in smaller markets seem to be the drivers behind this current deal.
