I remember those things. I loved those candies as a kid. I havent thought about those things in such a long time.
Candy....yes, I could not care less if it were a barbie pez dispenser, I liked the candy more. I'd buy packages of PEZ at the dollar store not too long back to get a ton of candy for dirt cheap.
The candy! I never even put the candy into the dispenser. I like the lemon and grape best.
I don't care, I like em all....kandikandikandikandi (runs around room in sugar fit)

candy i liked the dispensers too but it just be pointless cause i'd inhale the candy

I just buy the candy. In fact, I just bought some yesterday.
damn I want some pez candy :x
I would just by the extra supply pez, I wouldn't bother bying an actual despener.

my favourite one was a Wolverine one it went everywhere with me for about 2 weeks!
I loved the candy, but I used to collect the heads & then display them all on my TV stand...
Then it became about the candy... problem was that you had to ration it! You get maybe a dozen Pez candies per filler & how much was a pack of 3 or 6? Not really that cheap compared to other bulk candy.
...you could never buy it by the pound...
...but the heads became impossible to keep up when you realize there were 1000's out there! So I stopped & I joined "P.A." and broke my habit from collecting PEZ
Then it became about the candy... problem was that you had to ration it! You get maybe a dozen Pez candies per filler & how much was a pack of 3 or 6? Not really that cheap compared to other bulk candy.

They're gross. Once my mom bought me chocolate flavored ones to see if i liked them.. They tasted nothing like chocolate to me. Blehg

A lot of people say the candy tastes like soap or chalk or something, but I love Pez, especially grape. So I'd say I buy them for the candies.
The candy is gross, the dispensers are cool. I only have 2 though a Peppermint Patty and a Tweety one. I got the Tweety one because of Seinfeld. I wanted to get some cool Mr. Bean ones I saw, but they were like $5!
Yeah, I never liked the PEZ candy, tasted like chalk, but the heads were fun!
And just to broaden everyone's horizens, its story time!
Did you know that PEZ were originally intended to be consumed by the upscale jetsetter crowd, not children? Its true, they were intended to be a candy you ate after you smoked a cigarette to get the taste out of your mouth, and they were originally only available in peppermint (hence why they are named pez, which is a short word that looks vaguely like peppermint). They came in little metal dispensers that matched the metal cigarette cases.
Then kids got ahold of them, and they started selling more of the candy to kids, so they rebranded the stuff as a kid's candy, and made the dispenser from plastic and added a big cartoon head on top instead of the old plain topped metal. And the PEZ phenominon was truely born.
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle! YO JOE!
