Don't necrobump 4 year old threads. Don't take comments too seriously from other users.

Delete Confirmation
Assume that just about every topic has been covered at one point or another. It's best to lurk the site for a few week and only reply to other thread before starting your own. Also avoid giving strong opinions on different topics and keep political options in the proper forums.
When making a thread, post something appealing. Don't just post a blog from your website, because not everyone has the time to read a long blog.
Go bump a whole bunch of really old threads, post nothing but links to Your blog and just all around spam this bitch.

Don't be rude. If you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all. Also, treat others as you wish to be treated yourself, something some people on here are missing.
Don't let anyone tell you that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is retro.
If asking a question or making a request don't make a big deal out of someone not answering your post right away! Not everyone checks new post everyday and not everyone has time to research for answer when they first see it especially if it's something vague to begin with! Always post as much details as possible also including country and dates relevant to help narrow things down. If you throw a hissy fit I promise you the responses you get will be less helpful and more of the stfu variety. But mostly have a sense of humor and expect some colorful remarks to be made. People don't know you personally so taking things personally is pointless on here.
