I need a break from the news . . . so how about making your own Valentine's Day cards?

One place that's full of ideas is David Ellis Dickerson's "Greeting Card Emergency" series on youtube. He has several clips on Valentine's Day but this is my favorite one:

This guy should send a love note to himself, jeez. I got tired of him talking at the camera so I skipped around and saw two cards in the four minute video. He should focus on the cards instead of his face.

I made a card out of construction paper, with some popup features.

I printed one off of nickjr.com It made my wife laugh, so that's all I needed.

That worked for me too, I saw a graphic on a card site and I added my own words in fancy font. Making my own cards is what I do all the time now.
