Ok so I’ve moved around A LOT ever since I was 17 (after being kicked out by my mom) and every where I live at least once while I am living there (wherever I am living) I hear a voice In my head say “I wanna go home” and I know I don’t mean back to my parent’s house. Anyway, I think it might be a metaphor but I was just wondering if anyone else has ever heard that voice.
"Rap Rap, who's there? Rapper-man is on the air".

    Yes. I usually take it to mean "I want to find comfort and refuge from my problems."

        2 bedrooms 3 kids (me and my sister and little brother) Mom wanted little brother to have his own room and gave little sister her own room and just never really got along with me so out I went. Dad said and did nothing just told my mom that what she did was wrong.

            I'm sure it is but I know it happens a lot so...there's not much that we can do about it.

                        is this an audiable voice youre hearing or do you sometimes kind of hear it in the back of your head, because I get that way too.

                        Though I think its because I havnt felt like anywhere I lived was my home for a long long time.

                              yeah I totally agree. That's why I started this thread I knew I couldn't be the only one who had that thought. 2 of my friends have even said they have this thought

                                Its kinda funny considering I keep thinking of Texas as my home and I want to get back there, but I have no home there and Im sure I wont feel like its home whenever I get a new house there.
