I first saw the one, where he poses as the woman at when I was about 11 at the Smokey Bear Museum in New Mexico, in a movie about his history, the newer ones don't bother me, like from the 90s onward! That Rita the Raccoon is far more scary, you think she's realated to Charley the cat from those PSAs from the UK?

in england the don't have smokey the bear they have a cartoon frog to teach people about fire prevention.

edit***** I called my buddy and asked if he remembered his name I guess it's Smacky the frog. However I should mention that I did hear this from the Late Great Comedien Mitch Hedberg after doing a comedy show in Halifax. For anyone who knew him personally his life was a whirlwind of Hallucinogenic drugs mixed with alcohol and a need to feel accepted. He had many stories about many things and you never quite understood what was going through his head. So don't quote me on it.
Talking about him has made me sad. he was a great man and an even better friend. I miss you mitchy. here's a little montage for the people who don't know who I'm talking about.

he died way to young. his way of speaking some how made everything so much funnier and yes that's how he really talked.

IMO. his best jokes that he preformed in front of audiences with were. waiting for a seat at a resturant. and quitting smoking being as hard as starting to floss.

I'm too scared to look at any of these right now (alone, in the dark, at night, very late). However, the Child Abuse one with the girl (on RJ PSAs) and the other Child Abuse one with the toes I think it's called "This little piggy". OOOOOHICHSKFJDJFO God is that one creeeeepy!!
