I bought my doggie a sweater today. It was cold and I just had her shaved so she was shivering so I bought her one. I feel like those dumb pet owners but she needed it so I guess it was ok. Did you know you can bring little dogs just about anywhere? I took my dog into the UPS store, a bank, K mart, Big Lots, and a few other places. The workers just smiled and said how cute she was. Mind you she's not a big dog but she's medium size though and no one cared. The only places I don't bring her in are to places with food. But really I get to take here everywhere and it's so cool! Has anyone ever done or seen this being done before?

I have 2 small puppies, I take them inside certain places and no one say anything but aww, what adorable doggies and things like that. I do it all the time.

The first time I did it in K mart I thought I'd get kicked out so I put her ina cart and put a blinket over her. She was being very good but all the kids kept comming up to her and blowing my cover :) finally I just took the blinket off her and no one has ever said a word.

i ususally think it's silly to dress your pets, but if they're cold or it's halloween i think it's cool. however i just put a doll shirt on my 6 week old kitty and she went OFF on it. biting at the flower on it and shaking her head. it was awesome

My dog actually loves to be dressed up. When she sees her costumes or clothes, she gets excited. She runs up to me, sits and puts her head down so I can put her clothes on. I think she knows that it means we're gonna go out and be back later. I take her to a lot or outdoor parties (and camping) so she does have some warm clothes. My cat however, does NOT like to be dressed up. I as a joke made her an ugly knitted sweater and put it on her, she went NUTS :) So I do know that some animals do hate it.

I think dressing up your pets is cool..... :) I always dress up my puppies.
it depends on the animal... if they like it... no problem... if they hate it.. you are torturing them
...
I used to do this with my dachsund sometimes. (dress him up)
Then we took him out walking once, and he just kept picking fights with random dogs >_<
as far as I know, the only place I know I cna bring my pets would be Petsmart :P

I think dressing up your pets is cool..... :) I always dress up my puppies.
don't do that to cats
If they wonder away and get stuck somwhere they won't get free and can die (see the almost dead cat my neighbour had dressed like a fairy when I found it on a barbfence).
that and you shouldn't because most animals dislike it.
No, I only dress my pets. I wouldn't dress animals that hate being dressed.
I had a dog that loved to dress up and look "pretty" he was really cute, but I think maybe he was the dog equivalent to metro :lol: he rather liked it.

I can take my golden retriever/lab cross anywhere---legally.
Only because she's a service dog :D

lol, always! My mom spoils them all... we have four chihuahuas (Actually three, one is going to my grandmother) and they all have at least more than one jacket. When mine was first a puppy, my mom would put her in her purse and she would fall asleep in it. Once my father brought her to a restaurant with him. We love bringing our dogs everywhere. It gets annoying with more than one, though :? and mine and the boy dog Kirin get really aggressive when they see another dog, so that sucks... I wish I was rich because they have so many cute dog shirts on Hot Topic but they are EXPENSIVE...... there was a Jabba the Hutt shirt I wanted to get for mine... What kind of dog do you have?

AWWW..... I love those!! Aw really?? That stinks.... I've heard of House of Pets before. I think that's where their jackets came from actually. Thanks so much!! :) I'll have to check out the other sites.
Yea it's crazy with Hot Topic. Their sales are pretty good, though. They had some doggie shirts for $8 each once :o
