I was looking up some of these sites, you know where you dress like a person in olden time like the old west or Roaring 20s and they take your picture and it's in black and white. What is the deal with those things?

They are there to Remind People of What Life Was Like, All Those Decades Ago.
kinda just a fun thing to do i suppose. i remember my family took one of these at an amusement park when i was little and i used to have a lot of fun convincing some of my friends that it was actually a picture of my ancestors that were settlers in the old west.

I don't know they are fun. My cousins and I took a western-looking on at Knotts Berry farm once.

They usually have a stand or booth set up for that at major parks like Six Flags or Kings Dominion... Pretty cool, I had one done years ago and it was pretty convincing....
We should start an 80s one. Members Only jackets over stripey shirts for the dads, bad perms and thigh-length sweaters for the mums and teenage daughters, denim jackets and mullets/pigtails for the kids.
