Ok, so I'm gonna go ahead and start this thread now, even though I don't have the pictures uploaded for it yet. So, I'm gonna host a karaoke christmas party next month, and me being a girl trust me it takes forever to decide what to wear. I have some 80s inspired outfits, and normal ones. I'm an indecisive person by nature (unfortunatley) so I've decided to get opinions from all of you :)

I'm a fashion marketing student so I might be of some help. I think if you are going to focus on the 80's you should go all out. I mean the bananna clips for the hair. Bright make up. Neon colored pants and a splatter paint t-shirt. Or some type of dress. Here is a webpage that might help.

I already got my christmas shirt. It navy blue and silver. Those are good colors for the holiday season. I also love red and gold too. Me and my sister are gonna take christmas photos together wearing red and gold. Go for colors that look best on you. Do you know what your best color is?

Whats wrong with blue and silver!? People decorate for christmas using blue and silver sometimes. I think youre just jealous because I picked the colors before you did :P My shirt is hot, stop hatin' lol.

Let me clarify, Its not that I'm intentionally going over the top 80s, I'd be able to do that in seconds by myself :lol: . Its just that coincedentally, a couple of the outifts are from the 80s, yet they still look acceptable for wearing today. So they have that kind of retro appeal at the same time. I'll post some pictures, and you can help me decide. But I don't know if I'll wear either of them, so I was thinking just wearing something in colors that I like. My best colors are blue, dark red, sometimes black. Yes, I realize its gonna be freezing, but we're gonna be inside, plus I've gotta look at least sorta hot, right? :lol:
