It's bad enough that my birthday is about a month after Christmas, January 22, but I would not want to have my birthday on December 25.
*If I wrote a list for everything I wanted, and received them all for Christmas, then there's no point in celebrating a birthday.
*I'm at that stage in my life now where receiving gifts on Christmas and birthdays doesn't mean a thing to me anymore. I stopped having birthday parties when I was 13 years old. Sure it was fun when I was younger to have a party and invite several classmates to eat cake, play games, play music, and open presents, but as you get older, you start to care less and less about materialism and aging. Most people you invite to birthday parties are just there for the cake and ice cream and aren't really your friends after all. True friends are always there for you through thick and thin, even when you're not having a party.
