I just came up with an idea for a movie based on both SatAM the animated series and the Sonic video games! it can be a live-action, puppet and CGI Production made by Sony, Lion's Gate, DiC/Sega productions and The Jim Henson company with these guys to direct like either Joss Whedon, Brian Henson, or Luc Besson ("Leon: The Professional", "The Fifth Element", "Nikita" and "Arthur and The Invincibles") and John Carpenter can executive produce as well as do the music score like he always does with his amazing scores.

The creatures can be animatronics and puppets with some CGI at a few times and can be redesigned realistically by Brian Froud as the Furries can be realistic (ala, Sonic looking almost like a real hedgehog and no gloves on). Robotnik and Snively would be played by two live actors like for example Michael Ironside ("Scanners", "Total Recall") as Dr. Robotnik and Verne Taylor ("Spy Who Shagged Me") as Snively.

For the voices this is my ideal cast:

Sonic: Sean Patrick Flennery ("The Boondock Saints").
Sally: Jessica Biel.
Antoine: Jean Reno ("Leon: The Professional")
Uncle Chuck: R. Lee Ermy.
Knuckles: Seth Green.
Rouge: Jennifer Tilly.
Shadow: Andy Serkis.

It could be the next "Dark Crystal" when it comes to my idea of combing animatronics, realistic puppets and that kind of thing. Cool idea don't you think?
