You know, in a world filled with violence and hate, there's one thing I always look foward too. It's the Saturday Night Movie on ABC. Something about that channel that makes me feel good. I remember when I was a little kid, they'd play A Goofy Movie and Toy Story, and it would brighten even the worst day. Even without the Wonderful World of Disney, we still get an entertaining movie. Tonight it's Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy. If they brought back WWD, it would be great, but if there's a movie on and that little ABC symbol is in the corner, I feel at peace for two hours.

I hear ya. I don't know about the whole ABC edited for TV stuff, but when I want to kick back and be at peace for a few hours, I just fire up the ol' DVD player and chill out to some Pulp Fiction, Sin City, Apocalypse Now, Godfather, Scarface, Kill Bill, A Clockwork Orange and then I say, "Wow it sure is nice to get away from that violent and hateful world we live in."

What the hell are you talking about? He never trolls. He was just meddling with irony. How would what he said be construed as trolling? How is Brodie Banks going to take mention of those movies personally? I think you're being unreasonable.
As for the tv movie thing, we have AFN movie channel....it's basically the Saturday Night Movie, edited for content, but that's all it is....all week long.

oh the irony...i thought that was funny
now if they can fix their Saturday Morning Kid Block. I thought Nash's post was pretty funny.
I get what you're talking about. My wife and I actually have a "movie night". We order pizza and just kick back. That's usually my time for peace - even though It could be a horror show we're watching. I love movie night! its just a time to relax. sometimes I'll drink beer instead of soda and I get a little frisky with her.
