Any dir hard Olympic fans? Personally I don't know what to think about when they come on. I feel like the hype overshadows the actual games. There's way too many events and all the seats are empty.

I haven't watched olympics since I was about 10. Back then, I got pulled in because they were an "event" (much like the countless awards shows, and other such wastes of the airwaves). These days I barely even notice them, although this year I did throw together some olympic themed cartoons: http://allspark.net/cypherswipe/olympic-cartoons.html
There's only certain sports I'm at all interested in seeing: boxing and judo and wrestling...sadly I dont see any channel airing those events.
Wow, guess no one here gives a Gobot's spare tire about the thirtieth Olympiad.
Watching Chinese gymnasts helps me sort the candies by texture and odor.
