If someone breaks up over something as small as bad breath, they'll never stay in a relationship, IMO. It's no biggie for me, anyway.

ya it sucks but at the same time its kinna awkward, like what do you say to that, ya um i can't kiss your cause your breath stinks hahah there no sutle way to say that??
I'd stick it out until I get to know the person better and when he/she trusts me, I'll try to sneak in a mention of bad breath and breath mints into the conversation.
But if it's totally horrid, like dead fish and manure rank, then I'll deffinately be leaving!

haha yes^^^^, and hopefully in most cases the person woud think ahead of time to get mints or gum and not eat foods that create bad breath.

Depends. If they're a smoker or they have halitosis, it definitely might be a deal breaker. More likely if they were a smoker. Anything else can usually be fixed with good oral hygiene.

Like everyone else says, if its beer breath or cigarette breath, then no way - thats just being sanitary. But if it kinda stinks - not to the point where I wanna leave - maybe. But still just the thought about (yuck!!!):eek:
It really depends. If I like a guy enough I'll give him subtle hints (i.e. offer gum) or I'll end it right there if I don't think anything of it.
Not really. I've had ex's who were smokers, never bothered me. Bad breath is something that is easy to change anyways, even hairstyles and clothes. Personality on the otherhand....
I'd ask if she wants candy (even thought it'd be a mint). Or give her a York. It's minty. It wouldn't seem so obvious :S or it still might..

I have awful breath. Due to constant post nasal drop. But, as long as I eat some fruit or chew some gum before I'm making out - I'm OK.

There was a girl I had a little one night rendevous with and everything was going great untill we kissed, and man... it was like a toxic waste dump. She was a heavy smoker. It didn't break the deal that night :), but I definitely wouldn't consider dating her. Its just too strong of an association in my brain to ever shake loose.

Oh yeah, smoking is bad. Now that I think about it - I would dump a smoker.
