is it just me or did any of the other senior members feel a sense of accomplishment once you reached the plateau of "senior member?"
for noobs that don't know what i am talking about, once you have 100 postings you become a senior member. when i signed up for the site i noticed that under my name it just said member. i could not live with that so for about a week instead of working like i should be i posted and posted and posted some more. now that i have made it i am happy:D

No. Forum titles are not a source of pride for me.
Who cares what kind of member you are...all I need is the satifaction of remembering different things from my past that I may have forgotten
wow!!! tough crowd... keep in mind this just gives me something to do while im at work.
IT doesn't make me feel accomplished. It's not a difficult thing to do.
Yeah its like saying "How do you feel now that you've become potty trained?"
i would hope that everybody in here would be proud not to piss on themselves anymore.

Maybe it would if it was a title you'd receive once you made 5,000 posts or something...but you get it once you only make 100 posts. Not much of an accomplishment.

Yeah, but I wish the "elite" title was kept...
With the old ranking system, at least there was a sense of "Oh cool, I hit the *insert number here* milestone, I'm a *insert title here* now. Yay!" but now it's like "Meh, I'm a Senior member, along with twenty thousand others, half of which just joined."
I wish they'd bring back the old ranking system. It was more fun that way.

My forum title means nothing to me, all i care about is coming on here and have some good chats with great people about past times that meant a lot to us.

For me it's all about prioritizing everything. I have to put the conversation first and get my point across. It would be cool to have a high ranking, but I could see it encouraging spam to some degree. I guess you could say that it is not a competition in a message board.
