Well, on Easter I went to the ER with breathing problems. After a few tests, it turns out I had fluid around my heart (which casued the breathing problems), along with an extremly low platlete count (I had 16,000. The normal range is 150-400,000) and Anemia.

Well, after they tapped my heart (half a quart of fluid came off that bad boy) and they diagnosed and started treating me for TTP (a rare blood disorder which causes your red blood cells to destroy themselves, which also caused the low platlets. On top of it I have a rare version of it as well.) I ended up in ICU for a week.

While in ICU, I started thinking "Man, in another week, I would've probably been on my deathbed." Which is scary to think of, trust me.

So, the odds weren't really against me, but they could've been if I waited any longer.

wow thats like an episode of house. That must have been really scary. You go into the ER for one thing, and find out you have all this. I guess I should go to the doctor.
