Permanently uprooting the world of sports-entertainment, the Chairman has been presumed dead in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Local authorities stated it was still too early to declare anything as fact, including exactly what caused the explosion, but described the blast as an apparent “car bombing.” They also revealed that as of 11:30 p.m. ET, no body had been recovered from the incinerated wreckage.
Firefighters were quick to assess the scene, taping off sections of the parking lot to protect the evident crime scene and safeguard scores of onlookers – mostly our fans – from potential injury. This seems a bit too farfetched to me. It sounds like a stunt that they'd use in the actual show. I mean, for the WWF (Sorry...I still refer to it as this since I've known it as this since...forever) since so many of the wrestlers seem to dislike Vince's character (at least I was always under this impression). This is probably something for the actual show...or a "publicity stunt" to boost ratings.

This still sounds fishy to me...it's just too weird... I guess I have to see it for myself on a news program.
For a moment I thought this was for real. I thought a real life tragedy happened and wrestling would lose probably its biggest bad guy of all time. But thankfully (I guess) this is just another stunt in the WWE universe.

why couldn't you just have searched for it instead of saying that. it would have only taken a minute, if that. it was on the main page of www.wwe.com and all kind of news websites and all over the news networks. the guy comes on here to say something interesting like that and you pretty much just insult him for doing so, because you didn't believe him.

Like most people say, this is probably a work (something scripted passed off as being unscripted). WWE isn't exactly a reliable news source. Also, "Mr. McMahon" is his name within the WWE fictional universe.
If you watch it in slow motion you see him getting in his one foot out side of the limo, then a couple of more sec his foot or a dummie foot is out again. Maybe acting like he was really getting in. By this couple of sec he could of easily got out. Just like a chris angel magic trick. Plus you would of seen a driver even though it was buring up the body still will of been visible. Also why did it sound like ther was a loud gas poring in? I think it was all a crazy ploy to bring in more views and bring profits up. Dont you think the two guys out side would of came over or ran in the building and told everyone oh nooo mr mcmahon has been killed called 911... Very suspicious to me.

I call B.S. I also think that this was just done for TV. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out, though.

It's funny because you'd figure it would be all over the internet. Nope. The only mention of his death are on wrestling websites. Not CNN, not FOXNEWS, or anyting else. Love him or hate him, he is pretty famous and if Anna Nicole Smith dies and its everywhere in the news, you figure you would at least hear something about Vince McMahon on a reputible website.
