That's the only thing I actually want to know pertaining to that series. He lost his hat once, and whatever was under it, was shocking or something. Maybe it is a bad haircut.
My brother and me have been wondering about that. I remember there was a episode that double d's hat being taken off and ed and eddy saw it. He also said "If you tell anybody i will never speak to you again!" So i agree with him having a bad hair cut
Just a satire of how some people don't want to show off their hairstyle, maybe.

I have never watched it so i cannot relate but i will take a guess. I say cottage cheese.
I've heard a few people guess that it's a scar and that may be it but we'll never know until they reveal it.
