Am i the only sorry SOB in this place that misses the Raccoons. I haven't heard barely one of ya's talk about em. i remember that show quite well and the end credit song "run with us"....phuqing awesome song. and for the longest time i didnt know what the Sneers where.
You're not the only one. I used to love that show and I also still remember the end theme song.
Hey, I remember the Raccoons. They used to come on the Disney Channel when I was younger. Great show. I think the enemies were ant eaters or something.

Yeah I loved this too. Cyril Sneer rocked as the villan. Bert was cool too. Loads of great music as well.

Yes, I do miss the show, I haven't seen it since 1992 or so.
I would like to see of this sort of special they had; it involved a outdoor rock concert.
i loved that show and if it was on tv id watch it its only one of the 2 or 3 good shows to have come from canada which upsets me how short a list it is

Raccoons was Effin awesome . Some good eps are the ones where Brew and Schafer Find the plane to take then into the Evergreen forest! and the one where the build the race car and the One where Burt(or Bert) Tries to find a missing piece of a puzzle to a bag of soggy chips to win a bike!

The Sneers were aardvarks I remember Cyril Sneer saying that to his son once in one of the episodes. I loved that show when I was growing up, a station had the show on very early in the morning like 6:00 a.m. I think you can get episodes on DVD.

I remember that show. There were a couple of tv specials before it became a tv series.
In the specials, Cyril Sneer was a out right villain. On the tv series, he was more an antganoist than a villain, and as the series progressed he became less and less of an anganoist. On the series, Cyril Sneer reminds me a lot of Scroge McDuck from Ducktales. Cyril had the similar conflict of love of money and love of his family, at times it came into conflict.
But I don't understand why in the very first episode, everyone throw Cyril a surprise birthday party. After all he did to them in the tv specials, they throw him a party? As the series progressed, and his character developped, than it makes sense.
I loved the background music, and the songs, it was very catchy.

Cyril also has a money bin like Scrooge as well. Those pigs remind me of the nephews.

Yeah but those pigs never took Cyril morality into question, like Scroge's nephew did. That came from his son. The pigs went with the flow, while the nephews did take Scroge to task when he was doing something questionable.
