im runing on faded memorys of this one shot animated tv movie at lest thats what i think it was. theres nothing from this movie online or even on this site from what i seen dose anyone remember this in more detail. besides a girl finds out her teddies were alive and taged along to the picnic untill the bears found out she was human

Yeah I remember that. There was also a Teddy Bear's Christmas. Thats where we see the first time Ben and Wally meet.
Anyways the Teddy Bears Picinic is where Ben takes Wally to his first Picinic and this girl Amanda notices that her bear is missing. Ben and Wally come across her in the forest and Wally goes up to her in "un-teddy" mode and tells her that her bear is at this picinic and that maybe if she dresses up as a bear she could find her teddy bear.
I could go on about the rest of the show but I don't know if thats what you want. ^^;

I'm familiar with the song, I had it on an Anne Murray LP (yes, I'm old enough to have owned a then brand new record). The LP title is "There's a Hippo in my Tub". I've never seen the cartoon so I can't help you there but the song rings a bell.

That is because the Teddy Bears' Picnic is owned by Lacewood Production a Canadian company that went out of business or something. Either way they released the VHS for their shows back in the 90's (like the For Better Or For Worse specials) and they don't release them again.

Well you won't be able to find any "new" videos of it as far as I know of. I'm sure if you hunt around you can find it somewhere.

try eBay maybe someone ahs a copy up for grabs on there. My Grandma taped it off of TV for my sisters and I and we still have it from when it was on Family Channel in the mid 1990s.
All I remember about a teddy bear picnic, is when I was in kindergarden or something, and my class went on a "teddy bear picnic", and I remember a song....but I dont remember how it went.
