It seems as if the program called audacity(the most recommended program to use to cut an audio file down to a certain size) i'm having a bit of difficulty with. There is a little online manual to help you out with it but I don't really understand it. Here are a couple of questions I have in mind about audacity if someone knows the answers please answer them for me:
1.) I have this song thats about 4:43 in length. I wanna make a file of only from 0:43 to 1:24 of that song. How exactly would I do that on audacity?
2.) Is there a way that I can make a music file on audacity consisting of 6 shortened songs through audacity?

    1. The easiest way I can tell you is cut the segments of the song out that you don't want(highlight and press the scissor button) and just don't paste them back in. I'm sure theres probably a more legitimate way you can cut segments based on the track time, but this method works.

    2. IIRC, you can import the shortened songs as additional tracks and cut them together as you want. Use the "import audio" feature in the scroll down menus. Just keep importing until you have all the tracks you need and arrange them in the order you want.
