Which channel do you think is the worst now? For me CN is still good, but Disney Channel is just too hard to watch.
Don't know where to begin. Every channel I watched as a kid, mainly for the cartoons, now caters to teens and thus, took a big number of cartoons away from the kids.
the WORST change was with fox kids when they cut back to the weekends only and then changed to the fox box/4kids tv
I agree with Luna2 Foxbox and 4kids SUCK!!!!!!!!! And so does nickleodeon for many reasons.
one other was TNT. It was kool unti'll ted-dumbass-turner turned it to only drama crap. booooo
Well CN probably hurt me the most, it was my all time favorite. But I'd have to say Kids WB and FOX Kids because they stopped with the weekday programming and later on just played horrible cartoons with a few exceptions here and there.
I think the most drastic and tragic change was the Disney Channel. At least Cartoon Network still shows cartoons. (They just all suck now.) Nickelodeon is somewhat tolerable on weekday afternoons, but I'd rather not watch it at all.
They're all pretty bad, but Nickelodeon made the WORST change.

A tie between Disney and Nickelodeon. Both of these stations offered variety years ago. Disney had stuff for pre-schoolers, older kids, teens, and adults. The station now seems to only cater to teens. They don't even show the old "classic" Disney shows anymore, like the original Mickey Mouse Club or even the concerts they'd show every Sunday night. One time I remember coming across a Billy Joel concert (which would probably appeal to adults more so than kids).
As for Nickelodeon, it shows too many Nicktoons and too many Teen Shows. At least in earlier days of Nick and even in the 90s, Nickelodeon was more balanced and had some variety. It had game shows, somewhat teen oriented shows, kid-oriented, family shows, pre-school shows, foreign shows, educational shows, etc. I can't truly explain it, but Nickelodeon was more tolerable back then, imo Seems that now-a-days, in order to enjoy the station, you have to either be really young (Nick Jr), or a "teen" (seemingly everything else). It seems they've forgotten their own slogan..."Nick is kids!" =P

You know, it's just too hard to choose. They're all abominations of what they once were and hardly even former shells of themselves. But if I had to choose: the Disney Channel. That channel once served as a place I could catch some old Disney cartoons. Now... it makes me want to puke in my mouth.
I voted that they ALL went terrible over the years, but the one channel that became such a disappointment, IMO, is Nick!!!:mad:
For a sec, forget about the "CN" and "Teen-drama" Disney channel... what happened to Nickelodeon!? I want it back the way it was!!

Does this thread apply to non-cartoon/kid TV channels too?
I'd say MTV, hands down. They play crappy shows and they barely play music (and if so, it's crap). Then the USA Network, too many crime shows now.

I agree about that. TNT used to be great, now it's all drama stuff.
TBS is another one. They (like TNT) used to show classic cartoons, sitcoms, dramas and movies. Now they don't play anything older than 1990. And too many reality shows.

anyhow, nick is barely tolerable now, because of so few actual nicktoons (except for SPONGEBOB)

Guess I don't watch enough TNT, but I knew these channels were some of the most debated. ^_^;
