everytime i hear of a new movie no matter HOW GOOD OR BAD theres always someone who says its a great if not the best movie of all time. at this point ive stoped listening to the critics at the lest the ones on the posters what about you?
I generally know if I'm interested or not, otherwise a may read a few reviews.

Depends. I typically don't listen to a word more traditional movie critics have to say. Chances are a 60 year old mainstream critic and I aren't going to have the same taste in films. I will read reviews from sites like IGN and AICN, since they're more in check with what I like.
I definatley do not trust movie critics. Ever been to Rottentomatos.com? They suck. Almost all of my favorite movies they rated poorly. Critics are stuck up, and think they are "above it" and have no sense of humor....they just sit in the theater with their little pen and notepad thinking about how smarter they are than everybody else.

If I liked B-movies, would I say yes? Of course not. Many people just don't seem to get the point. Movies are just entertainment and many mainstream critics don't seem to get the picture. I do like films that critics like too, but it all goes within my personal interests and I don't care how bad someone says a movie is because I might like it.
Nope, I just go. But I do read reviews for fun.
I like to read movie and TV reviews on IMDb. I think they're more trustworthy than "professional" critics.

Yes and no. Some critics just bash a movie because they either are biased against the genre or filmmakers. But some will bring up points of WHY they did or didn't like a movie. Thats actually more important than saying you did or didn't like it. Like Roger Ebert, don't read his full review. What you want to read is the last two paragraphs or so. He'll bring up great points on films. I used to hate his reviews until a friend pointed that out. He does know his movies. But in the end, movies just escapist fun.
NO, they cant tell whats a good movie most times, they asy something I liked a lot like dont be a menace was a bad movie and gave it 2 stars and it was great

Being the film snob that I am, I usually find I agree with them. I hated "Spidey 3" and "Fantastic Four", so did most film critics, I loved "V For Vendetta" and "Sincity", so did most film critics. I also love those amazing oscar films.

I also really dont like Spiderman or stupid movies like Fantastic Four. I reallyyyyy liked V for Vendetta, but I havent seen Sincity (dont really wanna).
