I don't care about the language, it's the videos that irk me. Today's videos seem like the same thing, cars, girls shaking their ass and the likes.
Everything. The music is stupid. And I like singing in music, not "talking" in a straight tone.
Even in the mid 90s when I was younger, I didn't like it. I never thought this style of music was catchy at all.

I just hate the " we got so much money we are gonna waste it" attitude that goes along with all rap music. This especially bothers me since most rap artist claim to have come from poor backrounds. Bet everyone from there old neighborhood appiciates seeing them with 20 pounds of gold in their mouth and around their neck while the kids from their old neighborhood want school books and lunch. This flaunting seems especially nasty since its coming from people who claim to "remember where they came from". There is nothing better than seeing on the news that some pompous rap artist wasted away all his/her money and have filed bankruptcy, should have stopped bragging for a minute and thought about an IRA.
worse is the fact that all the young kids are trying to immitate that lifestyle(the rediculous over the top wastefull one) and are going into credit card debt at 20. but hey guys at least you look cool.

Not to mention the mindframe it sends the fans whom most of ARE truly poor. Telling poor lower class kids to go out and buy clothing, phones, jewelry, cars and other petty shit that they can't afford nor do they need. The music itself is mindless sythisized beats from a machine which offers no instrumental talent to take place from the actual "artist", people talk about how hard it is to free style rap but if thats the case how come Iam hounded every time I head down to the boardwalk by wannabee rap stars to "take a listen to their phat beats" IT ALL SOUNDS THE SAME and the lyrics and rhymes they do are so poor an autistic kid could come up with the same exact shit. All they ever talk about is money, women, drugs, gangbanging, and prison. I think thats a very narrow minded style of music and it's a curse upon humanity... And every once in a while I have people say to me..." but you should hear the underground stuff, it's political" Even so, I still hate the sound of the fake drums and the retarded lyrics... I don't like Public enemy, I don't like Bone Thugz and Harmony, I don't like Tupac, and I don't like Grand master Flash in the musical aspect. Tupac should have been a writer, not a musician. I understand what the message says... but when it comes to MUSICAL messages you have to have a sound people can stand... otherwise stick to writing. Hell there are many great writers that have changed the way people think and they did it with out music. Could you imagine Robert Frost or Oscar Wilde rapping? No because to would sound like SHIT. The subculture is mentaly draining, the attitude is physicaly repulsive, and overall the whole idea of rap today to all races blacks included is just insulting to our intelligence and our basic human morals.

I hate that artists with talent can't get regular rotation on the radio. There are a lot a rappers that make music about different subject matter. Listening to these mainstream idiots make it seem cool to be ignorant

I HATE IT SO MUCH! it is terrible! they say the f word 20 times a minuite, and it's anly talking to musit. all in all, it sucks!
i don't like rappers that brag about everything they buy with their money like $100,000 cars and jewelry. i also don't like when rappers constantly talk about how they still sell drugs or kill people knowing good and well that they have not seen or been on the block since they got their record deal.

I hate mainly modern rap since there is no real lyrical creativity. Even though all that is listed on the poll would not apply to older rap that uses such material for a reason instead of bragging and encouraging behavior. Context plays a factor in what is being said and done in music. I put everything mostly because of stated reasons.

One thing I don't like about it (in addition to the stuff already mentioned) is sampling. It's like rappers are saying "We don't wanna put any effort into creating actual music, so we'll steal someone else's, loop it, and talk over it." I'd love to see what would happen if sampling was made illegal.
