Who LOVES to shop there? I shop there as much as I can, and I've found the quirkiest things there like odd cereals, retro-like toys, and discontinued items I can't find anywhere else but there. I've decorated my entire room on stuff from the Dollar Tree and I think it looks pretty good. Any else a fan of "The Tree"?

I think going to Dollar Tree is fun, but I don't like actually buying anything there.

Well I worked there once, a long time ago.

My boss was an A*****le. He would not only Give both Workers and Customers a Hard time. but would MindF**k them. "You'll be here for the rest of your life. no need to worry about going to college, You don't need that!" seriously is that suppose to scare someone? WTF? . so i had enough of his BS and went elsewhere. I later heard he got fired afterwards then died after that.

other than that , they do have some ( and I mean by Little) good stuff there, But it's mostly crap. I know from experience

no, and there could be lead in the paint of one of the Dollar Tree toys without Dollar Tree even noticing.

I call the dollar-tree office supplies and playing cards "false outsourcing", considering the more expensive office supplies at ordinary stores (aka Wal-Mart or Target), like Scotch tape, regular Crayola crayons and markers (sometimes the washable), and Post-It notes, plus bicycle playing cards are still made in the USA.

OH NOES NOT TEH LED PAINTS!!!!!!!111

        WERE ALL GONA DDDDDDDDDDDIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!111!!!1!1!

Seriously, the lead paint scare is very very overrated. All kids need to know is "DON'T EAT PAINT", and they'll be fine.

          Tell me about it.

the last couple times I tried going for the nurse aide program at work, they said something like "laundry needs more help" pure bullshit.

However, they got a new person in charge of that, and now I'm awaiting the next time they're accepting classes :D

I go to the Dollar Tree on occasion, but I rarely buy things there. I've seen a few VHS movies there but they were titles I either already have bought
on dvd or I do not care for.

I've been a couple of times. Last time I picked up some wrapping paper for presents because I'd already spent so much. But I prefer Target. I went for the first time this past Christmas and it keeps getting better. We just bought a ton of Halloween stuff.

Just don't buy condoms at dollar stores!

I used to shop at dollar stores rather often, Dollar Tree is where I got the headset for my cellular phone actually, and it's still kicking 2 years later without a problem.

I love those mini fans amd e;electrical engravers for musical projects, let's just say I have some inventions using the basic motor mechanisms of those devices that I should patent.

Usually I buy scouring pads, office supplies (but NOT stape removers and highly mechanical stuff). If it runs off of mains power I pretty much avoid it, however, candy and drinks are a common grab for me too.

However, I must be very out of touch, I don't ever recall seeing condoms at a dollar store before, and even if I did, I def' wouldn't trust em'.

I like going to Dollar General and Family Dollar better, but I've gone to Dollar Tree before - it has some cool knick knacks and decorations. I should definitely try going to the Dollar Tree in my town better.

Dollar stores are a good source for older cartoon VHS tapes and DVDs, and for obscure childhood foods. :)

I think these thrifty places are a great idea but it seems like they are popping up everywhere. I actually saw three side by side under different names. it was:

                      .99 Store
                      Dollar Store
                      Dollar Tree

I never been to one, I just stick to the thrift stores.

I just had a little "shopping spree" at the dollar tree a few days ago; I got some pretty cool stuff including chocolate truffles, a few decorations for my room, vanilla-pecan potpourri, frozen chicken strips & mozzarella sticks, some REALLY nice perfume that smells way pricier than a buck and much more! It really is an awesome store, especially since my location has just installed a frozen section that sells perishable food like milk, cheese, ice cream, pizza, and lots more.

I've seen them at some stores. They carry them at the 99 cents only stores.
