Mannnnnn this happened before in the UK! There was even a movie about it called The Man Who Sued God starring Billy Connoly. I think he was struck by lightening? Or couldn't catch fish? Some bull shit. I didn't watch it because it looked lame.

That was the first thing that came to my head when I read the report. That movie was fucking hilarious. Billy Connolly is my second fave comedian (Dave Chappelle is my fave).
Yeah, his boat was struck by lightning while he was fishing & when he went to the insurence company they said they couldn't give him the money because the lightning was an act of God.

Good, it's about damn time somebody sues him. Has anyone taken him to court for that whole Katrina thing, yet?
I personally think that moron should feel pretty damn lucky that God hasn't gotten him in a car-wreck or something already.

So far no. Its been met with mild amusement at the stupidity of such a lawsuit.
Anybody in their right minds whether they are religious or not is going to laugh at this. If you don't laugh at it you need to take the dick out of your ass and gain a sense of humour. I mean for real, suing God? Come on!
