Okay, so this is a bit unusual to ask on a forum, but I'm getting desperate and need some help with this problem. I ordered an iPod Touch 5 in the mail and it came today, though I can't get it to sync with my Windows 7 (64-bit) laptop. The rest of the details can be found here:

I would really appreciate an informative answer please as I need all the help I can get. You can answer it on Yahoo or on here; I just need the assistance as it's been an hour and the question still has not been answered by anyone yet.

I'd just go down to the Apple Store, bring your laptop if you can and they can either fix it or replace it.

My laptop's front screen is broken. The only way I can run it is by connecting it to my external monitor so I can see it; and I don't have the money to buy a new one or fix my current one.

That might be your issue right there if the screen is broken, maybe something else is, preventing a sync. Have you tried connecting your iPod to another computer?

A whole HOUR??? Good god, how did you ever make it?

I was hyped up on stuff and it made my emotions more outburst than usual, okay? And I already solved the problem: just uninstalled the iPod after finding it in Device Manager and the laptop reinstalled it again the right way and it syncs just fine now.
