I just got through listening to a few of their songs on their Myspace page and I must say that I think they are pretty damn good. I'm generally a big snob when it comes to music so I didn't think I would like them but I was pleasently surprised. They're songs have great structure and melodic depth. I think I'm going to have to download a few of their stuff (legally of course ;))
Good stuff, MrCleveland, I really dig it.

One of my favorite bands, it's really just one guy. He's irish and he does a lot of work for comedies on TV like The League of gentlemen, Father ted and the IT Crowd.

He's been doing it about 12 years I believe.

You're thinking of Graham Linehan - who is a comedy writer and went to Colaiste Dhulaigh in Coolock (same University, but not at the same time) - but he hasn't worked on League of Gentlemen

The Divine Comedy is basically a one man job - fronted by Neil Hannon.

You may have got a tad confused - because part of the Divine Comedy song "Songs of Love" is used as the theme music to Father Ted - Joby Talbot did the music for League of Gentlemen
