Ok, some of you don't like the new post ranking titles so I am giving you guys the chance to choose new ones.
They are currently
100 and under = Whipping Boy
100-300 = Water Boy
300-500 = Respected RJer
500-1000 = Devoted RJer
1000-1500 = Elite
1500-3000 = Retro Pimp
3000-5000 = Retro Master
5000 and above = Retro King Of The Land
So discuss what you guys would like and once we have a solid list I will create the new titles.

these are pretty decent ones, but a thought that just came to me is that it would be cool if the different rankings corresponded to retro characters/people. for example, 0-100 smurf, 500-1000 marty mcfly, 5000+ optimus prime, etc. these aren't necessarily good suggestions for characters, but if you guys like the idea i'm sure other more creative minds could think of great characters for each ranking

Also, Vertex should be called "Big Brother", and the mods should be called "Sentinels"!

Wow, this system was changed to a simple two ranks to prevent people from post-whoring...now with the new ranking structure, it'll be like a game! Someone get Reaper back over here! :D
I have to say I like the Retro character idea. We'll have to get a mix of the decades and not just 80s characters, though.
I think we should be able to give ourselves ranks, at the permission of vertex/moddaddys.
I think I want to be Retro King of the Land.
I like everything currently except for the Whipping Boy and the Water Boy rankings. Why not change Whipping Boy to Newbies and Water Boy to Retro Junkie?
And if we are going to change it to characters' names, we do have to have a mixture of names from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Do they all have to be boy characters though, or would we have to have separate rankings for men and women?

I use to be on a message board where I was the top poster and when they went to change the ranks somone suggested that they all be called smurfs with me as papa smurf. It was funny, untill the site creator actully did it.

If it's admin approved that's fine
but if it's a user set rank and only the admins (eg: Vertex) can reset ranks, then no go
