If anyone can think of one, let me know. I'm having trouble doing so.

Just name any channel that you think has NOT jumped the shark yet, and if you can, give the reasons why. You can name more than one if you want.

Comedy Central, they are still great and haven't left their roots unlike channels like G4 and MTV. My favorite shows on their now are South Park, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and a few others I can't think of at the moment.

Many people think Cartoon Network has jumped the shark. I don't think it did. I think people just outgrew the channel and/or cartoons. They do have shows I don't like such as My Gym Partner's A Monkey and Squirrel Boy, and they shouldn't be showing live action movies, but I love to watch Adult Swim, Ben 10, Foster's, Storm Hawks and Billy and Mandy. I don't watch Nickelodeon that much anymore however, save for Avatar. I haven't watched the Disney Channel since 1997.

I would agree that Comedy Central has remained a fairly decent channel after all these years.

Man, how could I have forgotten GSN (the so-called hipper look of the Game Show Network that happened in Mar. 2004)? At least they're still airing game shows, even after that hipper look occured (seriously, The Amazing Race? World Series of Blackjack? Kenny vs. Spenny? oh, and the kicker. Vegas Weddings Unveiled!). Yeah, we can be thankful the last two have been canceled, that's for sure.

They jumped on the reality show bandwagon. Not cool.

Yeah, but they had good reality shows. They starred intelligent people and they weren't about drama and petty catfights. They were about adult professional people competing. They were all friends and it they were done in a feel good way. I loved all of the seasons of "Next Food Network Star" and all of the episodes "Next Iron Chef" (even though I think John Besh should have won :x ) and I hate reality shows.

The high drama and competitiveness wasn't good for my blood pressure. I am glad you enjoyed it. I guess it was the fact that it just seemed like they were invading my network. Reality shows were everywhere and still continue to thrive. Iron Chef destroys all.

I'm with Matt on this one. The Next Iron Chef is reality television for grown-ups. They focused only on the competition and the craft. It was very refreshing to see a well-executed reality show that didn't play to the lowest common denominator.

A few come to mind. Food Network, Comedy Central, TV Land, Hallmark, Turner Classic Movies, and all the music radio channels (I got XM Radio). Everything else has jumped the shark and gone to hell.

It's funny too, how Jump the Shark comes from Happy Days to refer as something that was good dropped dramatically in quality.

TNT shows quality original programs like the Shield and Nip/Tuck. Hardly a shark jumper.
