It's difficult to say. I think that some parts of it are. For example, the "I Love..." programs started running out of steam around the time of "I Love The 80s 3-D". There hasn't been a new "I Love..." program in a long time. I think that as the years are passing, the stuff that we consider retro is now becoming classic. For example, "Back To The Future" has just been added to the National Film Registry. That's a perfect example of a pop culture item extending beyond the idea of retro.
