She wasn't really my aunt, but had lived 2 doors down for so long, we just called her that. A sweet lady, but if you did the slightest thing wrong, she would go apeshit.
As children, shouting "dammit!" was seen as really tough and it would have her running down the path with a broom calling us "blasphemers".
If we farted in her house - and God forbid - thought it was funny, she would telephone our parents.
She claimed her moment of fame when she appeared in the press after writing a letter to the BBC after complaining about the lack of clothes that a woman had on in some tv show. It wasn't even porn. It was The Fall Guy or something like that.
Sadly, she died some years ago, but bless her, she would be offenended at the slightest thing.
