Narrator: Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality. But... there is, unseen by most, an underworld, a place that is just as real, but not as brightly lit... a Darkside

Sad? I say good riddance. The guy was a crazy scumbag pure and simple. He called the 9-11 attack "wonderful news" and I think anyone who takes delight in the deaths of thousands is a wicked person.

However, I found his anti-semitic diatribes rather ironic due to the fact that his mother was Jewish. Anyway, the guy was an enormous douchebag.

Never cared for chess or Bobby Fisher but from the posts above he sounds like a douche to me. First Renfro now Fisher. Celeberity deaths always come in threes I wonder who is next.

John Stroger Sr. died today too. He was a Chicago councilman. His son has taken over the position. He took over 2 years ago.

                    Another death occured today.

Rams owner Georgia Frontiere died at the age of 80.

She moved the Rams from L.A. to St. Louis in 1995.

I was wondering why that name sounded so familiar. I remember on the show Hey Arnold! they use a similar name of his as a character in the episode "Steely Phil". It's where Grandpa competes in a chess tournament with "Robby'.

Speaking of which, has anyone seen "Searching For Bobby Fisher"? It's a great film.

Good film, Bobby Fischer had some brilliant moments in chess though, even had a historic rise and humble beginnings and considered the only American Chess Champion of the World, most champions came from Europe.

Unfortunately on the flipside, he had a reputation for being arrogant, rude, hatefule and on a side note was considered quit naive among his peers.

The man was living in exile for years, he was a wanted criminal. He was hiding in japan when i lived there, mever ran into him, but I talked to some people who did, they said he was a complete nut bag at this point. Sad really, dude was an awsome chess player.
