Am I the only one who thinks cartoons and movies from the mid to late 90s dont have a place here on retro junk? I always thought that something had to be 25 or 30 years old before it was "classic". Agree or Disagree ?

Of course. Pokémon, boybands, Taco Bell Chalupas, it's all good.
I definitely think the mid 90's is retro, I guess 1999 is slightly retro, what about the year 2000?

It might be retro to the preteens here but I think the majority of us older RJers don't think 1999 should be considered retro at all. 1999 was only 9 years ago people and no Blair Witch is not retro yet as stated in the scream thread.
2000's almost retro. [Random 2000 item], [random 2000 fad], [random 2000 reference], it's all good.

Is 2007 retro? I mean it was like last year. Man I remember that year. I was 26 and Anna Nicole died and Paris Hilton went to jail. That was a crazy year huh. :roll:

Nope, I don't remember that year at all. I remember the Wii but that's it. Man, I wish I could go back to the year 2007 and relieve those awesome memories from that year.
2007 was all about YouTube getting popular, the movie 300, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and... 300.

Oh yeah I forgot about how retro the Wii is. I remember now. You see it was just so long ago I forgot about it. When you mentioned it I got that warm nostalgic feeling again. This is why I love this site you know.

I would say '99 is retro, only because I'm such a 90s whore...
IMHO 1990 - 1995 could be considered retro now.

1999 was barely 10 years ago. Hell, the mid 1990s doesn't feel that long ago to me.
