I hear that Leonard DiCaprio is going to play Keneda and that there will be a live-action version of the anime and Manga classic "Akira" coming next year from Warner Brothers.

Pfft...Anyone seen Freedom? That's a pretty good animated series by Katsuhiro Otomo. Very, very Akira-esque.

You're only saying that because you hate anime! :evil: I don't care if I haven't seen it yet, because I would like to see it one day. I've seen Katsuhiro Otomo's other works, so I'm sure that Akira is just as good as his other works. Besides, nobody wants to see an animated movie turn into a live action one anyway. :roll:

Meh. The movie wasn't THAT great in the first frickin' place, and I'm not saying that because I hate anime or something. I mean, you can't take a 2000+ page manga and squash it into a two-hour movie. It just doesn't work.
