Beepers.
Since there is lots of talk about how talking a lot of a cell phone can give you brain cancer, I think Beepers should make a return.
That is...until they prove (and I don't know if they did) that it causes cancer.

I did a survey on beepers before. They were developing a beeper that could receive what basically text messages. You'd take the beeper, hold it up to your eyes and look in and rad the message. You could also get simple pictures. This was being aimed at architects and engineers. It was pretty cool.
That's pretty sweet.
And some people don't even talk on cells, they text.
But seriously, I think that beepers need to make a comeback.

It was, but it was also 1993 or so. I have my cell phone for emergencies. I don't even use it to text. I have that disabled. I don't use it, so why pay for it.
A popular private school in our area has untill August to remove the cell phone panels,the neighborhood just one a courtcase to force a cell phone comapany to take the cell phone panels down from atop the school building.
2 years ago the school recieved money to let the cell companies put them there(because they needed the money to stay open) but the neighborhood fought them because of the radiation and they won.

i had a pager until late last year.
I have a pager for work, because cell phone reception sucks. I like em, makes me feel important and needed.
I have 4 beepers for various purposes. I hope the FBI isn't reading this. :lol:
