Or if your whole life doesn't revolve around your "stuff" and how advanced it is. I wouldn't say 2013 is boring by any means, but if I could take my family and experience with me, sure... I'd go back to living in the late 80's.

Only to you. Again... "stuff" does not ultimately bring true happiness. If it did, many of us would not be here (since our parents would be more concerned with their "stuff" than growing their family).
There is no doubt that we would long for the technology of today... the internet being a big missing piece. But I have long felt that the internet has been a net negative for us as species. And I think we will see that play out to a larger extent as the years progress.

I'd like to "visit" 1989... whenever things get particularly rough in 2013...which seem to be quite frequent at the moment. But one question..do we go back as the age we were then or as the age we are now? And can we change our own personal history? LOL

Agreed. Plus it is much more fun being a Batman fan in 2013 with Nolan's Batman movies, Arkham Games, and Batman: The Animated Series.

The only reason I would want to go back to the 80's is to get away from the 2013 bills. I would have to be a kid again, if I were grown up in the 80's I would want to escape to the 60's lol.
As much as I love 80s culture, I'm happy where I am now. It's 2013 for me...1989 would mean I'd be back in school again, and even though my school difficulties happened in the 90s, I still wouldn't want to go back.

O.K. Maybe for one week, yeah I'd go back for one or two weeks tops. I'd go around setting things streight; they'd be like how is this kid so smart? And what the hell is Google? Lol.
