http://www.docstoc.com/docs/526068/What-Do-You-See-Ink-Blot-Test-and-Common-Answers

What is the point of inkblot tests anyway? and whats it mean when you see nothing?

Rorschach tests I guess aren't exactly used alot nowadays I don't think. But I believe they were used for like personality, how organized ya were, aspects of psychology we don't care about... crap like that.

Wow, that sucked. On some of them I saw things and on some I didn't see anything, and a few of them looked like demon monster faces.

I guess it's supposed to be a psychological evaluation of some kind.

I remember seeing a Stuart sketch on Mad TV in which Stuart went to a shrink and got a Rorschach test!

Stuart: Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother. Dead mother.

        Niiiiiice mother.

Apparently psychologists and psychiatrists don't take any stock in these, but they are used occasionaly to get patients comortable with talking about themselves/ their problems.

According to that site I'm well ajusted, I picked one of the good answers for every entry.

I think these have been discredited for a while. I've never been given one.

I picked one of the good answers a few of the times. But some others I simply couldn't come up with anything.

I don't think these are used for serious psychiatric evaluations anymore, but we did play around with them in eighth grade English class. We were reading Flowers For Algernon at the time, so the teacher brought some examples of inkblots; I couldn't see anything in them, except the occasional deformed monster face thingee. It's a pretty crap way to evaluate someone's intelligence and/or mental state, I think.

Wait how do they even make inblot tests, do they just pour ink like mad on them or... :?

Well... They're inkblots. From the looks of 'em, they look pretty symmetrical so I would assume they blot ink on a folded sheet of paper and open 'em. I guess.

I never see ANYTHING in inkblots...they look like ink blots! They don't resemble auctual things to me, I mean sure.....you can say it looks kind of like a butterfly, but hardly. LOL.

I looked at that slideshow just now, and that "gorilla" one is actually supposed to be a guy on a motorcycle. That was one of the cards my eighth grade teacher showed us; I couldn't see anything besides the "monster," but after she told us the answer, I could totally see it. I guess it's just a matter of what you're looking for.

I think its kind of strange how each picture seems to have more than one picture that can actually be seen.

When I was asked to do one on the side, I saw Jack Black building a doll house in his garage on one side of the ink blot, and then Kyle(his brother) trying to sleep on the other side. No joke! The shrink then looked at me and said, "And I thought your brothers were the only one's I had to see."

... That's one bleak future you come from.
