I was thinking around 1999-2000 (BACK WHEN IT WAS WWF), it started going downhill in 2002, and by the late 2000s, WWE was stupid.

    I would say during the mid/late 1980's (1984-1988), during the "Hulkamania"/"Rock 'N' Wrestling" era.

Didn't WWE look real low budget during those years? I know at that time I preferred WWF because it just looked better.

I'm not even going to acknowledge the WWE Universe as true wrestling fans.

Now, that was my favorite era of the WWF...1984-1988! I have many fond memories of watching Championship Wrestling (WOR Channel 9, New York City) on Saturday nights and WWF Prime Time Wrestling (USA Network) on Monday nights with my dad!

I'd say during "Hulkamania" or the Attitude Era.

The good thing about the old days is that they seemingly had an angle for everyone on the roster. These days, that's certainly not the case.

I've always said the day WCW went out of business, that was the day wrestling died. WWE is a hot mess now, but at least there's some great independent promotions (namely Chikara) putting on outstanding shows.

I said WWE, but I was actually thinking about WCW. My mistake.
